About the Project: Developed a high-performance e-commerce promotion service designed to apply discounts and vouchers based on a complex set of rules.- Project Architecture & Technology Decisions: Spearhead the design and implementation of backend architecture using Go (Golang) and microservices. Evaluate and select technology stacks to meet project needs effectively. - System Design & Integration: Lead the integration of Redis Sentinel for high-availability caching, MongoDB for scalable data storage, and Kafka Connect for reliable message bus communication. Ensure seamless interoperability between microservices. - Protocol & Messaging: Utilize gRPC for efficient inter-service communication and RabbitMQ for reliable messaging, enhancing system performance and reliability. - Task Management & Documentation: Oversee task prioritization and execution, ensuring alignment with project goals. Project: Vieon Backend Services (Content/User/Payment/Transcode ...) (30 members) Responsibility: - Maintaining and optimizing legacy system. Refactoring code from python/php to Golang. - Define the architecture, database and coding convention for new services, - Coporate with SYSTEM team to setup CI/CD/Deploy process, following from local -> production deploy. - Training new members, create training documents as well as update documents. - Task breaking and manage roadmap for new feature. Project Detail: Content Service (Go): Manage VieON content like movie, show, drama. User (Go, API/GRPC): Manage VieON user and admin user. using gRPC gateway Payment (Go): manage payment transaction service. Transcode(python/go): services help normal transcode movie format to streaming format (HLS/DASH) Migrate (Go): cronjob service that manage internal action (MySQL->mongo migrate, user VIP expired migrate ...). Playlist (Python): CDN management system that will response movie link play based on dynamic rule. Task-pipeline (Go): similar GitLab pipeline that is customizable for other services like (transcode schedule, public content schedule ...) SEO API(Go): create dynamic Search Engine Optimization content (sitemap, Seo header ...) for VieON website
