Walk with me on this journey of how I totally “fell for” this work!I accepted a temporary opportunity with my current employer, I was unsure of what my career path would be or if I even had one. 10 years later, after having worked with amazing financial professionals, I am totally cemented in this industry!Financial services affords you the opportunity to connect with people making major life decisions. Purchasing or refinancing a home is probably the largest financial commitment that most people will make. Knowing that my work helps people achieve the dream of home ownership makes the job worthwhile. Educating clients on the financial implication associated truly brings this work full circle for me. My range of skill set/tasks is truly multifaceted, managing pipelines, serving as the point of contact for questions and escalated matters, coaching and training of new and existing employees, and providing guidance and support to my amazing team!In the rearview, but so close, I have fond memories of my career journey:I was recognized for Highflyer and then Highest Flyer at Freedom Mortgage, awarded to employees who go above and beyond the call of duty and embody the values of the organization. That moment when a pilot version of a project that I’d been working on for almost a year finally rolled out to the team. I proudly led the charge of being the subject matter expert for the department and worked with my IT team to create a new User Interface for the entire closing department.
