I am helping to develop and implement a volunteer recruitment plan, volunteer guide and orientation night. I will assist with creating a volunteer schedule for the weekend of the event.

Completed an applied project in marketing for the Norwood Fair through the Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation. For this project we were required to create an online presence for the Norwood Fair. This was completed by creating and maintaining a Facebook and Twitter Pages.

My main role was to assist guests who came into the visitor centre or called in. I answered their questions and provided different trip ideas. During my time at Peterborough & the Kawarthas Tourism I answered the phone, compiled visitor data in excel, took pictures of the artisan merchandise and I contacted local restaurant partners and put together a book with all the different menus. I was responsible for working cash, opening and closing the visitor centre.

As an associate of Zellers I worked in the jewellery, fashion, fitting room and electronics departments.Other responsibilities included working cash, answering the phone and making announcements.
