The Children’s Dental Health Project (CDHP) creates and advances innovative policy solutions so that no child suffers from tooth decay. Driven by the vision of all children achieving optimal oral health in order to reach their full potential, CDHP will lead the way toward a health care system that is truly inclusive of oral health, from payment to care delivery. Managing the HRSA-funded Perinatal and Infant Oral Health Quality Improvement (PIOHQI) Project, a learning collaborative providing a comprehensive approach to build leadership capacity through collective learning, data-support for systems change to the health care system to improve the oral health of pregnant women and infants; managing budget approximately $550,000 per year; Collaborating with members from four national partner organizations and utilizing their expertise; Gaining insight to inform oral health policy for pregnant women and infants; Developing data dashboard for states to track project progress and monitor quality improvement data; Facilitating 24 webinars, 6 in-person meetings, 10 technical assistance visits for 16 unique state grantees; Writing blog posts to inform audience and raise awareness about the importance of maternal oral health
