During my enriching internship period, I actively contributed to two impactful projects focused on CBiO Deployment Automation:1.1 Project: CBiO Deployment Automation - Script DesignIn this project, I undertook the task of designing a robust and efficient Script using Bash/Shell Scripting. The primary objective was to streamline the process of importing configuration files and log files directly from the Script itself. One of the critical functionalities I implemented was a smart check to determine whether the system was using OpenJDK. Leveraging this information, the Script would automatically call and unzip the required files, ensuring a seamless and error-free deployment process.1.2 Project: CBiO Deployment Automation - Loader ScriptAs part of this engaging project, I was responsible for designing a dynamic Loader Script utilizing Bash/Shell Scripting. The Loader Script was intelligently engineered to identify the occurrences of the "source" (s) within a file. It would then systematically process each occurrence until none were left, effectively managing and executing the necessary actions. Additionally, I implemented a functionality that counted the total number of lines in the overall script, providing real-time feedback on the percentage completion during execution. This feature enabled enhanced tracking and monitoring of the deployment process.Throughout these projects, I embraced a proactive and collaborative approach, working closely with the team to understand their specific requirements and aligning the solutions accordingly. My commitment to precision and detail ensured that the software I developed was not only robust and efficient but also adhered to industry best practices and standards.
