Perform material testing on a variety of different construction materials.Perform site inspections and field testing for sampling/compaction and/or construction inspections.Maintain daily checklists and quality control reports.Assist in equipment management / control / maintenance / certification.Review / track / summarize Quality Assurance non-conformances and ensures appropriate follow-up.Ensure the safe / organized status of materials and equipment in laboratory and field areas.Assist and perform Geotechnical investigations and inspections.

Assist in the development of long-term preventative maintenance program.Assessment of short-term maintenance priorities.Coordinate construction/maintenance activities.Review and monitor progress and quality of works.Utilizing regular and informal reporting procedures which may include verbal, written or other means of communication.Collect, interpret and analyse data and trends to monitor processes and operations.Provide operational, technical and strategic planning advice. Investigate, document and report on public liability claims in accordance with procedures providing prompt attention to necessary rectification works and follow up action.Perform other duties as required consistent with the principle objectives of the position.

Assist to schedule projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlinesLiaise with project coordinator and installation manager during the life of the projectInspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations, quality control, etcMonitor progress on sites – monthly and biweekly reportingCollaborate and liaise with client – as intermediary between client and our teamEnsure all necessary permits, licenses, and underground locates when requiredPerform initial site inspection and routine site visits to monitor construction progress, schedule, and general compliance with contract and construction requirementsMaintain all drawing logs, correspondence of projects
