I am a fourth-year student pursuing a BS-MS dual degree in Biology at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, one of the leading institutes for interdisciplinary research and education in India. I have a keen interest in Biology and its applications in medicine and biotechnology. I am currently in the middle of two Bioinformatics-related projects whose combined experience has motivated me to think along the lines of pursuing a career in this field. Besides academia, I have participated in several club events and social activities such as SPIC MACAY (coordinator), Aakashganga, Inventa (editing science articles), Science Club and much more. An avid trekker, a sports enthusiast, and an amateur photographer are three of my defining qualities. I enjoy exploring new places, playing different games, and capturing moments of beauty and joy. My goal is to further develop my bioinformatics skills and knowledge and to contribute to the advancement of science and society.

The training data for building this model is available on the GEO database in the form of high-throughput sequencing experiments like HiC-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq etc.

Multiple processes like Data cleaning, PCA, Differential Gene Expression, Gene-set enrichment analysis, Subsystem enrichment analysis, Biomass and Exchange reaction analysis were carried out to infer how the metabolic system adapts in challenged conditions. The testing datasets were obtained from GEO (Tuberculosis) and TCGA-Xenabrowser (Lung Adenocarcinoma) respectively. -
