During my internship at Mercle, I developed a new point streak feature in the navbar, which significantly enhanced customer engagement by incentivizing daily visits. Additionally, I introduced and implemented a referral feature that efficiently tracked user referrals and managed rewards for referring users, contributing to the growth and retention of our user base.

Here, I embarked on an exciting project to create a Grocery Recommendation System tailored for Berlin, showcasing the power of data science in enhancing daily life.Highlights of my contribution include:Conducting an in-depth analysis of customer behaviors and preferences, leveraging a dataset of over 30,000 entries. This critical phase enabled me to grasp the nuances of data collection and preprocessing, laying the groundwork for a sophisticated recommendation system.Developing the system using four advanced clustering machine learning algorithms, including K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). My focus was on both content-based and collaborative filtering techniques, ensuring personalized and relevant grocery recommendations for users.This project not only allowed me to hone my skills in machine learning and data analysis but also offered a platform to impact real-world consumer experiences positively. I joined Cvent India in January 2023 for a 6 month internship. During this period, I contributed to data governance and standardization projects, enhancing data quality and accuracy across systems for efficient event management and customer engagement. I worked with a team of 6 data analysts to identify and deduplicate 50,000+ records, achieving a 30% reduction in duplicate records and improving data accuracy by 25%. My internship with Cvent provided me with valuable hands-on experience in strategic decision-making and exposed me to the intricacies of extracting reliable insights from data.
