I mentor three Open Printing contributors who are taking part in the ongoing Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program. In my role, I provide direction and support to contributors developing the following projects: • Development of a Scanner Application in PAPPL: This project entails developing a scanner application within the PAPPL framework, boosting scanning capabilities in a user-friendly and efficient manner. • Adding Support for IPP Everywhere 2.x in CPDB: The goal of this project is to increase support for IPP Everywhere 2.x in the Common Print Dialog Backends (CPDB), hence boosting device compatibility and usefulness. • Constructing a Native Gutenprint Application: The third project intends to create a native Gutenprint application that will improve the user experience and functionality of Gutenprint in the context of printing and graphic chores.

As a student representative for the Career and Placement Cell at IIT Mandi, I promote contact and cooperation with businesses during our hiring season, which includes internships and job placements. My position ensures that students have access to excellent opportunities and that employers have access to top talent.

As a Software Development Intern, I redesigned user interfaces, linked the Listmonk API for autoresponders, and easily integrated GST details via APIs. I oversaw the creation of a machine learning-powered application that increased the accuracy of bank statement processing by 20%. In addition, I created an easy-to-use online interface that boosted user engagement by 30% and allowed users to obtain sales insights and statement analysis at different time intervals. My position also entailed simplifying system functioning by using APIs to connect the frontend and backend.

As a Google Summer of Code Software Developer, I was instrumental in the advancement of scanning support within the Printer Application Framework (PAPPL). Among my major accomplishments during my term are: • eSCL Parser Development: Developed a powerful eSCL (eScanner Control Language) parser that allows for smooth communication between applications and scanner drivers via DNS-SD, HTML, and the eSCL Protocol. This helped to improve scanner compatibility and functionality.• Distribution-Independent Driver System: Assisted with the development of a revolutionary method that allows scanner makers to distribute drivers in distribution-independent packages such as Snaps. These drivers are now compatible with all apps, closing the gap for scanners that do not use drivers.

At IIT Mandi, I was the Management Lead for the Google Developer Student Clubs chapter. I organized and facilitated a variety of events in this role, meticulously recording critical metrics for each event and publicizing them on our chapter's page. I was also in charge of contacting guest speakers and inviting them to instructive seminars, as well as supervising logistical arrangements such as coordinating venues, equipment, and materials for a successful implementation. My efforts contributed to the club's initiatives' success and growth by creating an atmosphere for information sharing and collaboration among students interested in technology and development.

As a Frontend online Developer, I used JavaScript and the Bootstrap framework to improve the aesthetics and functionality of a user online application. My project aimed to improve the overall user experience for both college management and students. I was in charge of redesigning web pages to make them more user-friendly and visually appealing. During my time there, I also created four additional web pages, which improved the application's features and increased its value. As a result, user adoption increased dramatically, rising from 60% to an astonishing 90%. My contributions as a Frontend Web Developer had a huge impact on the application's success, giving a more enriched and user-friendly experience for all users.
