Select fellowship to join a national high-impact education policy and advocacy organization, where I reported to the Chief Advocacy Officer.Project managed the publication of case studies and reports about districts that have successfully implemented personalized learning practices. Developed interview protocols and conducted interviews with school board members, superintendents, teachers, etc. Drove advocacy efforts and research around our "Public School Transformation Now!" campaign, which promotes 21st-century learning and technology use in the classroom, by authoring blogs and memos on this topic and addressing data requests from state school board association members.Developed sections on short-term COVID-19 relief, the homework gap, and more for NSBA’s 2021 Advocacy Agenda, and used this to create a one-pager for the organization’s Presidential Transition Recommendations for dissemination to relevant education stakeholders.

Worked directly with the Deputy Chief of Strategy to help a large urban school district plan their Spring remote learning plan. In this position, I:1) Analyzed thousands of survey responses from school leaders, educators, and families in the client school district to determine strengths/areas of improvement for remote learning. Synthesized the data into actionable themes and created polished PowerPoint presentations to present to the client. 2) Created two comprehensive tools to help senior leadership with client engagements. The first provides an overview of the Learning Management Systems (e.g. Google Classroom) available for districts/charters to use and the second tool covers all the available digital tools in education, from videoconferencing options to digital curricula. 3) Conducted desk research to determine best practices from the Spring Distance Learning plans of high-performing districts/charters.Please refer to the recommendation from Eric Lee below for additional perspectives on my time at Attuned.

Co-led Executive Board for a student non-profit that feeds food-insecure families in Washington D.C. During my time with the organization, we were able to package well over one million meals for families in the metro area.

In this role, I helped maintain a relationship between faculty members and the organization, to ensure faculty were aware of the events we hosted and to ensure Supply Chain students in their courses were aware of the recruiting events we held monthly. I also assisted with leading the recruiting events and helped promote these events to Supply Chain Management students through bi-weekly tabling. As an executive board member, I helped determine the strategy for bringing in additional companies for events and for increasing student attendance/knowledge of said events.
