Shape Himalaya Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which brings together young individuals dedicated to creating local impact in Himalayan communities guided by global perspectives. The Foundation is committed to connect and contribute to the community with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that are to be realised at the intersection of the Environment, Society, Economy.The Foundation is establishing a vocational training centre located near the Dehradun valley’s Mohand area in close proximity to the Rajaji National Park, for handloom and dying craft, silage making, fodder preservation, vegetable waste composting and food processing, to improve socio-economic condition of backward communities with a focus on girl child; to have innovative action-oriented workshops for the benefit of child and women labour likely to be helpful to create self help groups, and forming youth clubs for entrepreneurship development, character building against social evils, preservation of cultural heritage; and will also provide health education on rural sanitation. A watershed management project to enhance drinking water supply and an agro-horticulture project with cash crops such as industrial hemp (cannabis) is being built. It has started with India’s first handmade hemp paper manufacturing facility along with an in-house healthcare shelter for unclaimed bulls, cows and calves; which will build on to be a self-sustaining micro dairy processing unit, working on renewable energy from biogas. That is just what we have achieved in the nine months since we have launched. Our vision is to create a performance space for artists, to strengthen sports infrastructure, science education, culture and values education, environmental education along with the vocationalisation of secondary education in rural schools, the universalisation of elementary education, as well as integration of education for disabled children.

• World Economic Forum has initiated Global Shapers Community to prepare young people for social impact. It is a network spread in over 150 countries connected to the community and contributing to the community, committed to improve the state of the world.• From the Dehradun Hub, I initiated collaborations with other Global Shapers in Palestine, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, Mongolia, Japan, Russia, USA, UK.• Under my leadership the team grew from a strength of 5 to over 20 members which represented every sector of local society with backgrounds in government, military, politics, youth, non-governmental, business, underprivileged, student, minority, art, science, culture, design, repatriate and expatriate.• It is the ethos of Global Shapers Community that has set into The Shape Himalaya Foundation.

University Rep (2008–2011) on DSOBS EC: As part of my responsibilities, I started the DSOBS’ first SOCIAL MEDIA presence through Facebook, supported DIGITISATION OF DSOBS RECORD, re-traced old records of DSOBS Constitution at government offices which were unavailable for several decades.I started the Squash tournament as part of my responsibilities as a University Rep (2008–2011) on DSOBS EC.
