Climate change has triggered natural hazards, degradation of ecosystems and consequent food insecurity. My interests lie in mitigating the effects of climate change and contributing to ecological development. My experiences have motivated me to enhance my design and programming skills and take up other projects to restore the environment's balance. Moreover, during my undergraduate, I was a part of three different publication projects, each presenting a unique set of challenges, thus enabling me to develop varied skill sets required for qualitative research. The first project included forming a closed-loop sanitation cycle to recover urea from urine using faecal ash as the adsorbent. My second project was on biochar and its application in the industry as an adsorbent. The third project focused on the impact of COVID-19 on waste management. These projects have helped me develop the analytical skills, tenacity and patience to work on research projects and prepare me to dive further into the intricacies of the field of sustainability. Moving ahead, I want to work on the synthesis of alternative fuels like biochar and the production of green hydrogen. I want to advance my career by working on scaling up the production of such alternative fuels and ensuring society's ecological development.
