Project Finance | Infrastructure | Corporate Finance | Credit Risk As a seasoned professional in Project Finance and Credit Risk, I currently hold the position of Assistant Vice President at Morningstar DBRS. In this capacity, I function as the Lead Analyst for credit ratings within Project and Infrastructure Finance, covering a diverse range of assets such as Hydro, Wind, Solar, Data Centers, and PPP-based Civil and Social Infrastructure projects. My responsibilities also extend to conducting research to contribute to Morningstar DBRS publications.Prior to my role at Morningstar DBRS, I was part of Grant Thornton’s Government and Infrastructure Transaction Advisory Team, where I excelled as a Management Consultant. Throughout my tenure, I engaged in numerous projects, highlighting the dynamic and multi-faceted aspects of my role. My mandate involved preparing detailed project reports, conducting techno-economic viability studies, and strategizing the capital funding for a spectrum of infrastructure projects, connecting both governmental and private entities with funding solutions from commercial banks, private financiers, international donor agencies and the Indian Government grants. A highlight of my tenure was collaborating with the World Bank and Asian Development bank, where I played a pivotal role in crafting financial aid monitoring frameworks and developing pilot project financial models along with detailed project reports.
