Computer Science Project Intern-Worked directly with Energy Traders to create a regression model to forecast natural gas burn for 7 regions (Python & SQL server)- Wrote data cleansing algorithm to clean and interpolate missing Power load and Price data for the Time series database- Conducted back-testing of Burn model to check accuracy and refined it by changing input variables based on what Gas traders recommended. It produced very high overall R^2 values and p values below 0.05 for all variables proving the model's efficacy.- Wrote the exchange reconciliation process comparing multiple trade attributes which eliminated hours of manual reconciliation
