A client-facing engineering consulting role for green/climate tech clients as well as clients in the semiconductor/HPC space. Responsibilities include seeking out and responding to federal funding requests for information/requests for proposals, as well as outreach to relevant government agencies and partners to help clients win grant opportunities. Also tasked with drafting client materials (outreach slide decks and whitepapers) and keeping in communication with clients on priorities and next steps through regular presentations and correspondence.

Worked in a laboratory experiment role at NREL to conduct testing with molten salt thermal energy storage for concentrating solar power (CSP) applications. My work involved day-to-day experimental management and teamwork, as well as a main design and planning role for a large molten salt heating tank and insulation panel tank. Testing is set to begin to determine the viability of cenosphere insulated panels for corrosion resistance in molten salt storage.

Conducted a 10-week science undergraduate laboratory internship (SULI) virtually with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. My project entailed MATLAB modeling of a load-based thermal energy storage system with phase change materials, in which I applied the principles of heat exchanger design, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Attached are a paper and poster which I created as a part of the Department of Energy internship requirements.

Completed administrative tasks related to the Congressman's Washington DC Office. Conducted tours of the United States Capitol, researched and drafted constituent correspondence on a variety of issues, and attended hearings and briefings related to United States energy and environmental policy. Worked with a group of interns to complete projects at the request of junior and senior staff members.

An undergraduate research role running experiments on corrosion pitting of Aluminum alloys with sodium chloride solution. Gave group presentation and put various laboratory skills into practice to prepare metal samples and test them across multiple trials.
