• To attend project Kick-off meetings along with the Estimation & engineering team to obtain the tender documents with an understanding of the Scope of works & the project budgets• Design the procurement log along with the project planner by categorizing the materials to First fix, Second Fix & Long lead Materials along with planned dates• Procurement and finalizations of MEP materials/Equipment by Identifying the key vendors with strict adherence the company’s procurement process.•… Show more • To attend project Kick-off meetings along with the Estimation & engineering team to obtain the tender documents with an understanding of the Scope of works & the project budgets• Design the procurement log along with the project planner by categorizing the materials to First fix, Second Fix & Long lead Materials along with planned dates• Procurement and finalizations of MEP materials/Equipment by Identifying the key vendors with strict adherence the company’s procurement process.• Issue LOI & PO• Ensure all the documents like acceptance on PO, Proforma Invoices, Bank Guarantees Issuance of LC’s• To identify potential System Integrators by performing a pre-qualification process and Finalization of Sub-contracts for Specialized systems like Building Management System, CO Monitoring System, Fire Fighting Systems, ELV Systems etc & general MEP Installation works like Ductwork Installation, Chilled Water Pipework, Plant Room Works etc & subcontractor management• Ensure Order Acknowledgements and delivery schedule for regular & long lead items and reviewing the material tracker to expedite the delivery of materials on time• To Appoint a third party if required for the regular review and updates on manufacturing process in the respective factories to ensure there is no unforeseen delays from the suppliers.• Coordinating with Store Manager and respective HOD to maintain a minimum level of first fix items and ensuring the timely ordering and deliveries of the same.• Conducting weekly project review meetings with the specialized sub-contractors to ensure a smooth work environment.• To continuously explore new vendors in market to find a better cost effective solution for the benefit of the company.• Ensure timely payments to the vendors.• Attend Project review meetings and present the progress, savings & provide a cost saving report after a substantial completion of procurement activities.
