Acquisition & Fraud Strategy- Feature Engineering and Model Training - Wrote the feature store for Zambia , enabling quick and iterative model training and selection for use.- Credit Policy - Designed the customer segmentation of Zambia using Decision Trees, to decide on pricing and limit assignment. Implemented said policy using a SQL function after iterative testing locally and using API calls on staging. - Fraud Controls - Built fraud controls from the ground up. Wrote 50+ heuristic rules to tag fraudulent behaviour for review. Created data models using DBT to enable the fraud tagging pipeline.- Case Management System for Fraud Ops - Built from scratch, an interactive case management system to action upon flagged applications in a funnel using automation tools like Zapier along with Airtable and Snowflake.

Working in Acquisition Policy and Product for the Credit team -- Risk Based Pricing - for agricultural input loans using demographic and mobile bureau data for small holder farmers in Kenya , also using agricultural data to estimate deadlines for such loans.- Building a holistic Fraud Controls framework to weed out and action bad actors - using effective analytics to first identify and setting SOPs for various cases to action such actors.- Data Visualization - Using SQL and Python for creating visualizations, including interactive spatial views to better understand trends.- Product Design and Experimentation - Testing price and limits to see the presence of sensitivity among different segments of customers against metrics like transition rates, followed by testing statistical significance. - Monitoring of Acquisition metrics - Expansive monitoring framework to track important metrics, along with Post Implementation Monitoring post new strategy implementation
