Rishabh Ganguli is an aspiring Data Scientist currently sharpening his skills as a Business Intelligence Analyst at the City of Chandler. Alongside his work, he’s a junior at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where he’s working towards dual degrees in Business Data Analytics and Computer Information Systems.Rishabh’s academic journey started at Chandler Gilbert Community College, where he earned an Associate's degree in Business with a 3.8 GPA. During that time, he interned at the City of Chandler as a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience in analytics and project management. His hard work and dedication landed him on the President’s Honors List for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters, reflecting his strong academic performance.Before diving into analytics, Rishabh was a Realtor in the Phoenix suburbs. It was in this role that he discovered a passion for data-driven decision-making, particularly when using CRM systems and statistical methods to understand market trends. This sparked his interest in turning raw data into meaningful insights, ultimately steering him toward a career in data analytics.Currently, Rishabh is developing a comprehensive data collection method utilizing Power Apps, SharePoint lists, and advanced Excel automation. His goal is to eventually create Power BI dashboards integrated within Microsoft Teams to assign across all City of Chandler employees. Although the solution has yet to be implemented and its impact cannot be quantitatively measured, it’s poised to address a longstanding internal challenge at the City of Chandler.Rishabh is someone who likes to back up his personal decisions with solid research. He’s most confident when his choices are informed by data, which is why he’s so passionate about analytics. Looking ahead, he aims to help businesses make smarter decisions by not only analyzing data but also developing the information systems needed to support those decisions. Rishabh is excited to continue growing in this field and making a real impact with his skills and experience.
