With over 14 years experience in the welfare to work sector and currently driving performance, compliance and quality as a Deputy Area Manager for Shaw Trust, I have a strong background in a compliance, governance and working towards performance targets. Being customer focused is the centre to all my roles and thriving to be best in class is the standard I set. Within the Welfare to work sector my key achievements include; being awarded grade one for observation, selected for all internal / external inspections such as; Ofsted, Matrix, Delivery Partner Assurance Review (Dpar) and Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI) over the years this has made me into a highly experienced and dependable individual. One of the areas I have been recognised for over the years is, changing people's lives for the better, this required me to be flexible and adaptable with a different calibre of people, abilities and backgrounds. Knowing that helping people back into work, or up skilling them contributes towards a positive outcome for the individual puts a smile on my face.I enjoy giving back to the community and partake in co-ordinating and organising multiple charity events. My out of the box thinking and ability to embrace change makes my performance stand out.
