OpenTable was acquired by the Booking Group in 2014 for $2.6B.We also contributed to core OpenTable products and systems, including data-analytics, intelligently-actionable-reporting, and product lifecycle transitions.I led OpenTable's Mumbai engineering office, with a culture emphasizing customer focus, and finding the perfect balance between quick feature delivery, ensuring quality, and maintaining clean code.

Chalo's mobile payments app made it easy to walk out of restaurants without waiting for the check. Chalo was acquired by OpenTable Inc in June 2013.I led our great engineering team in building the product including apps, backend services, and myriad Point-of-Sale integrations at restaurants. We were able to quickly iterate and test, find product-market fit, while continually making this real-time, transactional system ever more robust and scalable.

VSee is the world's best video telemedicine platform, supporting a wide variety of customers (MDLive, Sentara, Stanford Hospital, Trinity Health, Sutter Health), and disrupting the healthcare industry by increasing the effectiveness of remote-medicine. VSee is backed by In-Q-Tel, Salesforce and the NSF.As part of the founding engineering team, I bootstrapped the product (focus areas: Windows client, AV compression, optimal network streaming, P2P architectures), worked through several pivots and scaled up the startup to support millions of users.

Computer vision research for video games for the PS2, PSP and PlayStation3 consoles, culminating in co-inventing tech used for the PlayStation Move controller. Research in Depth (Z) Cameras as a UI interface for games (ala Microsoft Kinect). Optimized-for-Cell-CPU libraries, including image processing routines and math libraries that shipped in the PS SDK.
