Hello! My name is Rishi Gangwar and I am a Design Manager with a Mechanical background. I am based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, with extensive experience in designing and developing polypropylene multifilament extrusion and winding plants, bag conversion plants, and other related components.I am proficient in various software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP, as well as in geometric modeling and simulation software including SolidWorks, UG NX, AutoCAD, EPDM, SolidWorks Simulation, Altair Hyperworks software (SimSolid, Inspire, Hypermesh, Ansys Mechanical, ACP pre post, Acusolve, Simlab, Optistruct) and others.My experience spans over 5 years, during which I have consistently demonstrated my ability to conceptualize, design, prototype, and commercialize multifilament extrusion plants. I am also skilled in optimizing machine components using analysis tools like Ansys Mechanical, Altair Hypermesh and Inspire, and designing critical components using CFD multiphysics tools.I am proud to have been a part of several major projects such as weight optimization of Godet frame using CAE analysis tool (Altair Hypermesh) in collaboration with IIT-Kanpur, design of polymer extrusion die, and others.As a Design Manager at Lohia Corp. Ltd, Kanpur, I have led a team of 2 for CAE department to provide an annual cost saving of 3 CR through weight and process cost reduction. I have also been involved in resolving issues at customer ends, process designing, SOP, and explaining the same at the shop floor as and when needed.I hold a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from AKG Engineering College, Ghaziabad with a GPA of 79.8%.
