My time with BNY Mellon has proven to be a period of learning and understanding. The complexities of the finance giant has paved a path for a better understanding of the grassroot working of every component. My responsibilities over the period included development of tool's for the maintenance of static data load for fund accounting. The most precious learning at BNY Mellon would always be the constant maintenance and upkeep of the data processed within the instrument. This provided a fine understanding of the purpose of the tools built over time for fund accounting.Responsibilities for the role included :• Analysis of the existing workflow to identify the impact of any law change with respect to fund accounting.• Development of enhancements for static data maintenance tool that is primarily written with .Net framework.• Maintenance and support for existing structure in place on a daily basis to keep the system well oiled and consistent.• Keeping a vigilant eye over the daily request processing of the system to identify any possible gaps that may impact the functionalities.
