Employed with Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defense), Government of India in an active leadership and management role since June 2014. The job profile is quite challenging and interesting at the same time broadly dealing with management of men and material. Some of the major waypoints include providing logistic support to Shore as well as sea based stations. Ensuring seamless supply of arms, materials, tangible and intangible items from various supplies to sea and shore based stations. Other major task involves training of personnel, Inter and Intra department meeting with different government agencies, planning joint exercises, ensuring discipline and work ethics, counselling and mentoring subordinates, protection of national interest, safeguarding Indian territory from adversaries, ensuring IT network security, to name a few.Being an Armed Forced personnel, I am well trained in firefighting, providing emergency relief care, first aid , providing CPR, and other life saving drills like emergency evacuation, fire man lift etc.
