Operations Manager
Current Planning, forecasting & scheduling of manpower, equipment’s & material required for ongoing projects and up-coming projects with cross functional departments. Coordination with cross functional departments and monitoring of material from order placement to logistics. Tracking performance measures such as productivity, workforce utilization, savings in material by reducing wastage limits Analyzing project critical activities through project tracking/project review at repeated intervals and its corrective actions for mitigation. Major focus on increasing profitability. Involvement in vendor negotiation and finalization within approved budget. Involvement in strategic decisions. Risk analysis of projects, vendors, and sub-contractors. Planning of resources as per approved and agreed quarterly and yearly turnover. Involvement in Project Budget and CAPEX preparation. Quantification & Preparing RFQ of material as per technical specification. Preparation and reviewing of QAP /ITP. Preparing BOQ for sub-contracting works along with scope matrix. Identifying new potential vendors and developing a strong vendor network. Involvement in variation approval. Conducting vendor audits and factory visits of new vendors to analyze their capabilities & capacities. Preparing WPS, PQR and witnessing WQT.
