A background in the Indian Philosophy of Vedanta and Photography enabled me to get this project.United States-India Educational Foundation awarded us Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship for this project 'The Blue Jackal Under the Tree'. It is a photographic/sound still-life series focusing on land and water use in relation to local culture and tradition. Eventually, the project also evolved into topics such as women's empowerment and gendered spaces.Outcome: This two years-long project resulted in two exhibitions, one at NYU Abu Dhabi and the second in the Greenville Museum of Art, USA. We also published a book titled 'The Blue Jackal under the Tree'The installation consisted of larger-than-life sheers and a 5 screen projection with sound.My role:1) Facilitate and plan the project across India.2)Philosophical Interpretation of symbolic elements pertaining to Indian Culture 3)Installation and Coordination work with US Nationals. NYU Abu Dhabi, Greenville Museum of Art, USA.4) Delivered a Lecture on Vedanta Philosophy at the Greenville Museum of Art.5) Got published in a book called ‘The Blue Jackal under the Tree by Linda Adele Goodine

The institution has seven buildings which needed to be serviced. My role here was to make the supplies available for all the buildings.This involved: 1) Communicating with the caretakers of individual buildings to understand their needs.2)Talking to multiple suppliers across Pune/Mumbai for the availability of the supplies and getting the best deals. 3) Arranging logistics for the purchased supplies from cities to Vedanta Academy.4) Sorting and arranging all the supplies and dispatching them to respective buildings.

At the school of Vedanta Philosophy, we had to compulsorily work every day as a part of our Karma. This allowed students to work in varied fields of work and gain work experience. Since I had my background in Photography from Symbiosis I joined the Audio-Visual Department. My Portfolio in the department was to set up our teacher's lectures which included working with industry grade sound equipment and video cameras. Additionally, I also got into editing and archiving the lectures which encompassed using Adobe Photoshop & Final Cut Pro. Additionally, I also helped in creating a system for backing up and storing lectures which are currently used in the e-learning course of Vedanta Academy.Working in this department allowed me to contribute in setting up in house events for the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO)

Attended a workshop YWCA hosted in Khadakwasala, Pune. As a result, I got insights into organizational structures and work culture at AIESEC.
