Hello! I'm Leon, and I invite you to join me on my exciting journey in web development and coding!With a fulfilling career spanning system administration and software development in the graphic industry, retail, and media sectors, both as an employee and entrepreneur, I discovered my true passion for web development in 2020.In April 2020, I successfully completed a rigorous full-time remote training program in Front-end Web Development at Winc Academy. As part of the selection process, I underwent a mental ability test that revealed my HBO+ (Bachelor) level of work and thinking. Throughout this intensive training, I thrived in rapidly assimilating new information and acquiring proficiency in various programming languages and front-end tools.Even before receiving my certificate, I embarked on a Web Developer role and contributed to a noteworthy project—a Full Stack Web Application tailored for healthcare providers in the Youth Care sector of the Netherlands at Zorgverkeer. I gained invaluable experience in Full Stack Development, with a strong focus on JavaScript: utilizing React for the front-end and Node for the back-end.Beyond mastering modern JavaScript, I have broadened my skill set through extensive exposure to a diverse range of front-end and back-end software and technologies. Some of these include Alpine Linux, Auth0, Bash, Betty Blocks, CSS3, Docker, Express JS, Figma, Git, GitHub, HTML5, Keybase, MySQL, Node JS, Nova, NPM, Postman, Sketch, TypeScript, and Visual Studio Code.To further augment my expertise, I completed the Back-end Web Development training at Winc Academy in June 2021, deepening my understanding of the back-end aspects of Web Development.In 2021 and 2022 I worked as a Frontend Developer at Redkiwi, where my main responsibilities included participating in sprints and providing support to clients like Orange Cyberdefense, Omnimark, Nimeto, and Vroon. My technical stack included JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Tailwind CSS, PHP, WordPress, Visual Composer, Twig, Typo3, Magento Open Source, and Craft CMS.I recently started a front-end role as a Frontend Developer at XSARUS | Digital Commerce, where I actively contribute to the development of Adobe Commerce, Magento, Shopware, and headless e-commerce solutions.
