As a clinical neuropsychologist trained in neuroscience research, I have a special interest in individual differences in how we think, feel, and relate to others. Cognitive diversity, or, more accurately, neurodiversity, is an expression of how our brains are wired up, which is the result of both our genetic inheritance and our experiences in life. This is what I call our "ThinkPrint," as unique to us as our fingerprint. My work is focused on helping people better understand themselves and those they care about, by recognizing how problems with attention, learning, and relationships often reflect emotional factors such as anxiety, depression, and irritability (mood dysregulation), and using mindfulness training as a powerful tool.
