My team of nine runs Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Center of Excellence delivering integration projects and services to three public sector customers. Integrations are implemented with Karaf/Camel/ActiveMQ and API management with NGINX, both on AWS and On-Prem.I'm responsible for planning and coordinating tasks, customer reporting, change management, process development, steering groups and overall enabling my team to perform well and enjoy their work.

Transitioning old IBM API Connect environment to latest V10 with a team of three. After the project the environment was handed over to 3rd party responsible for continuous services.

I was providing Project management view and experience on internal project deploying new internal ERP to Digia. As the new ERP changed totally the way we manage projects, a plenty of project management knowledge was needed in all phases of the program to modify the processes and configure the tool to suit our needs. I participated in the initial demos&reviews of possible products, use case creation, test case writing, testing, data migrations, preparing and giving end user training and end user support.

Our large retail Customer has a major IT architecture renewal program ongoing with approx. 15 sub projects and several international suppliers. Our Integration Center team is responsible for developing the 500+ integrations, including message transformations and logic needed to connect the renewed systems to other internal and external systems. As the integrator we need to be in close co-operation with all sub projects at the same time. That is not always easy - but with successful communication and great customer relationship we were very successful.I was the program lead in Digia. I was leading the sales phase. During the project I coordinated all of our program level activities & communication with the Customer, running all financial planning and reporting, coordinating four of our sub projects and also leading the transition/cut-over planning & coordination activities. One project manager and a team of nine worked for me. NPS 100 (9 responses).

Retail Customers major POS system renewal project. My team of four was responsible for developing the integrations transforming the POS data (receipts etc) to various formats for other systems to use and setting up a receipt archive. I was responsible for sales, planning and coordinating our tasks, co-operating with 3rd parties as well as proejct reporting, steering group activities etc.NPS 50 (2 responses)

A new Service to Pay system was deployed on the retail Customer's environment. Our team at Digia was responsible of providing all required integrations. This work included re-creating complex business logic of the old system to the integration layer to cover the functionalities that were missing from the new cloud solution. Extremely intense project with high risk. However the project was a success and the Customer was very happy with our performance and quality - NPS 100 (3 responses)I was responsible for reviewing integration specifications with Customer before team starts to work on implementations. I acted as Scrum Manager and coordinated team's work items & tasks. As project manager I tracked project overall progress, running governance tasks, steering group meetings etc.

IT infrastructure transition project manager running projects for a large customer.I ran a program migrating several hundred Windows 2003 servers to a recent OS version. I was responsible on finding out the requirements and plans of each business unit, initiate the migration projects and then provide all possible support for the project managers. I reported to the Customer's internal IT unit.Other projects have covered deploying new BI and audit tools as well as large AIX/DB2 cluster transformation project. I also participated in several deployments and proof of concepts of IBM product like Guardium Data Activity Monitor, DB2v10.5 with BLU acceleration, Datastage Balanced Optimization. I also completed Capgemini Engagement Management Level 1 certificate.

I was part of a team in the Electronics Research Unit / Department of Physics / University of Helsinki. We developed a method based on ultrasound to join thin (25-50µm) aluminum wires together for the Electric Solar Wind Sail space propulsion invention.I was more or less responsible for designing the machine. I also wrote most of the control software code and designed and built the required control electronics.My research focused on nondestructive quality estimation method for fine wire bonds using a novel contact resistance method.
