As a Data Scientist at Caruna I had a change to develop my skills with large variety of tasks. We created one data platform to gather all the core data of the company. I built our customer data, contracts, meteringpoints, customer service data etc. to easy to use layer. As a part of online development team I integrated online data as part of other customer data. I was also the core member of the direct marketing analytics, building the capabilities for marketing effectivity.The works I’m most proud of: The whole customer data model in Snowflake, the basis of all customer analytics. Text analysis (Python, NLP) for customer NPS feedback in Finnish language, including classification and sentiment scoring. Data modelling for main process KPI’s like process timeliness and digitalization rate. Creation of Caruna’s main customer segments. Customer dashboard, Power BI tool for customer data insights for whole organization.

At Telia my Data Scienstist career was launched like a rocket. Lots of marketing and sales analytics, long time customer value and customer satisfaction analytics. Lots of fast-paced analysis to business and sales departments, but also longer scaled development. Lots of work, lots of freedom to impact the business. For analytics I used SAS tools like Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner.The Works I’m most proud of: What post number areas should we send 1 million tabloid advertisements? If we call to customers, who are the most prominent to buy e.g. sports tv channel package? At what time should we send emails to different segments to maximize sells? What postnumber area should we build our new shop in? The value of +1 NPS score and +1 marketing permission, in euros. Customer segmentations for consumers: e.g. main segmentation and who are the "gold customers". Customer score to buy e.g. mobile phone. Product season searching, e.g. what is season for phone insurance. Value of marketing channels. Crowd analytics for customers’ holiday roaming data usage. Scrum and Jira implementing to analytics team.

Online and social media marketing for TeliaSonera, the most valuable brand in Finland (BrandWorxx 2011). Those were the times remarketing became big and marketing automation on web pages and paid advertising in social media started. I searched the best of the writers, designers and analysts and managed their work. The extrovert side of me loved the fast pulse and never-ending meetings. I kept my focus on development, finding the new technologies and learning from the best.The works I’m most proud of: Modular campaigns e.g. using the data from Facebook competition questions to shape the ads and landing pages. Huge campaigns turned smart e.g. competition where we shared all the Finnish hockey league players’ jerseys with autographs. Broadband marketing for ”need segments” like players, expecting mothers and movers. Never-ending optimizing of SEM and other on-going marketing.

Travelling industry was an interesting and inspiring change. My work included some writing, CRM & newsletters and web page designing. At Finnmatkat I learned that I need clear targets in my job and I have to follow my heart at everything I do.

Moving to the marketing agency was an interesting step, and I greeted the creative atmosphere with joy. My work included writing, copywriting, usability, web page designing and building. Same job as in Trainers' House and Satama.TBWA\North° is an international marketing agency that combines marketing, communications and sales into one business boosting entity.

Osma ry is a national umbrella organisation of all Finnish language students in Finland.

Moving to Trainers' House didn't change things so much, as we were working with client at the same job as in Satama Interactive. My work included writing, copywriting, usability, web page designing and building.Trainers’ House Plc is a Growth System Company with a mission to help customers to grow. The company was formed by the merger of Satama Interactive Plc and Trainers’ House Ltd on 31 December 2007.

As a Web Editor my work included writing, copywriting, usability, web page designing and building. I learned much of my ways of working: how I like to learn and interfere everything around me, how I do not only what is asked but what is necessary, and how I like to take responsibility. How I always work for the people, and always put the people first.Satama provides consulting, training, concept design, production and business intelligence services.

These Siula years taught me more than all the university studies – what it is to work for other people, to make thing happen, to plan and to execute. My years as a politician. Lots of talk, paper and coffee. During these academic years I learned that I need to get closer to the real action – to really make things happen. I was a representative of HYAL, Representative Council group of subject organisations. The Representative Council is the highest decision-making body of the Student Union.

With my experience from Humanisticum I thought that it would be useful for the Student Union that I spent one year in this committee. Not much renewal, I got to admit, but lots of fun :)Committee for Tutor Affairs is in charge of the planning and organising of HYY's tutor training and it participates in the evaluation and development of the University’s tutor training. The Committee for Tutor Affairs is in charge of welcoming new students on behalf of HYY.Spring term: Vice-chairman, Autumn term: Chairman.

Some board work for the company. This year was the year of the big changes for the University Press.One of the leading Finnish science publishers. It publishes literature from various academic fields (i.e. political and social sciences, humanities, philosophy, environmental studies etc.) for the purposes of the Finnish academia and university students.

I decided that during my chairman year in Siula it would be good to also have some backup from other interest groups. These years were comeback years for Humanisticum, organisation that had somehow forgotten its role. My part was to try to collect tutors together and gain some synergy.Humanisticum is an umbrella organisation for all the student organisations and for all the students in the Faculty of Arts in University of Helsinki.

A dream job during studies. Mail processing and delivery was physically a great challenge, running up and down the stairs in Punavuori, Helsinki. Never been (and never will be) in as good shape as back then.

Reading and correcting every word of a bi-weekly published paper, City. It was an ok experience for a pedant reader like me, but took lots of time.

This work as a part-time replacement of a Finnish language and literature teacher taught me to prepare myself well every time when I'm teaching. It was lots of work at planning and evaluating pupils, and good amount of stage experience for a bit shy and nerdish young man.

As a face-to-face fundraiser I got to work with people again, on the streets. Challenging, frustrating and rewarding work for the right cause. Sometimes freezing.

Hard-working nights as a bartender & DJ, part-time and weekends. At Rentukka I learned to love customer service and physical work.

My very first job as a part-time trainee at Toijala office. These two years gave me a high school diploma and some knowledge of what I want to be. I was searching myself, all-math high school wasn't my thing, work at Nokia wasn't challenging enough. Lots of poetry and physical exercise.
