My mission is to solve the wicked problem of low construction productivity. If we can enable more industrialized construction, we can make living in cities more affordable, sustainable and comfortable.Often the best way to initiate change is to start scalable businesses that disrupt current modus operandi. Therefore I have launched multiple startups in construction and real estate businesses like manufacturing portable buildings, co-living real estate development, co-building platform and home customization services. I have managed successfully up to 35 m€ real estate projects and development of new products and services in multiple general contractors and real estate development companies. However, I feel that my work has not yet been impactful enough. Currently, I am compiling my learning from the industry and developing my high-impact ideas further with the scientific community.
