To catalogue and update a library of recruitment campaign media and ensure that the consultancy team add/amend to keep the library up to date and relevant.To be responsible for ensuring all new starter information is accurately updated into iTrent, within agreed timescales and that all new starters are eligible to work in the UK, with valid documentation presented.To liaise with the Joint Disclosure Service to ensure disclosure and barring clearances are actioned and recorded.To be responsible for ensuring all candidate references and medical clearances are completed, recorded and acted upon, as appropriate.To assist in the organisation of recruitment interventions to source and attract key talent to both local authorities.To keep abreast of relevant employment legislation, implement changes and advise managers and colleagues of any changes and implement them.To ensure all queries are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner and deal with queries involving interpretation of policy giving comprehensive advice. Refer more complex queries to senior colleagues as appropriate.To develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, managers, trade unions and customers, maintaining a professional attitude at all times.To comply with all aspects of the Council’s Health and Safety Policy and Diversity & Equalities Policy and related arrangements.
