Portuguese and resident in Maputo, Mozambique, I'm a senior environmental engineer with over 15 years of experience managing and preparing environmental studies such as: Environmental Impact Assessment, Strategic Environmental Assessment; Environmental Monitoring; Environmental Audit; Environmental Management Plans; Resettlement Action Plans and Due Diligence work. I have an extensive working knowledge of international best practice and the IFC Performance Standards and IFC Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines. From 2014 until December 2017, I worked as Environment and Social Technical Advisor integrated into the Strategic Technical Assistance to the National Programme for Water Resources Development (PNDRH) for the National Directorate for Water Affairs (DNGRH), in Maputo, Mozambique, a project financed by the World Bank. I joined Ramboll in 2018 and i am managing social and environmental monitoring projects for the LNG Project in Palma, Mozambique, for Total Energies and CCS JV.In March 2022 i started a new partnership project - BioVision - an Environmental and Social Consultancy Company based in Maputo. I have experience working in Portugal, Mozambique, Angola, Malawi, Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Uganda.
