211 WNY Mission: To strengthen the accuracy and reliability of 21 WNY, primarily in urban communities. Expand the use of 211 WNY and its programs and platforms by organizations that provide services to the community. Develop methods for promoting 211 WNY to the community members in urban communities. As a Community Outreach Specialist, I am seeking to develop an extensive background in outreach management and relations within organizations. Demonstrated achievements: ✅ As the founder and president of Fillmore Forward, I planned and supervised two storefront makeover and renovation projects. ✅ As a Contact Tracer during the pandemic, I achieved a 95% success rate in helping hundreds of individuals and families receive the support and resources needed while staying in quarantine. ✅ As the president of Fillmore Forward, our team fundraised 93,000$ from the Department of Environment to support The Square Community Garden Project, helping over 100 people, and partnering with 15 other communities - including the Martin Luther King community.
