In 2011, I joined STAND! For Families Free of Violence as Bilingual Case Manager and Legal Advocate. I provided case management, hotline support, facilitated support groups, and legal advocacy. In 2012, I was promoted to Community Education Manager.

In 2008, I moved to Maui. I worked as a substitute teacher to allow me the flexibility to support my son's transition to kindergarten. I am grateful for this period as I was able to cherish every moment of this important milestone in my son's life.
