In this role, I manage the development and execution of internal and external disaster recovery failover tests for critical systems and applications. I lead redesign of process of benchmarking technical recovery times of core infrastructure elements improving the accuracy of recovery time and objective. I also conduct redesign review for business continuity test plans to ensure that all test plans are meaningful and correct. I evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend effective solutions. Below are some of my notable contributions:• Orchestrated cloud governance plan, leading major IT infrastructure projects, including migration to the cloud.• Developed and implemented IT Disaster Recovery plan in an environment that supports 2400 end users.• Conducted and assessed data and system recovery testing to identify gaps and ensure continuous improvement.• Oversaw and determed timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.• Monitored all IT systems, budgets and project plans, making recommendations for new or upgraded technologies and communicating with a variety of levels of staff.

As a Hardware Technical Specialist, I supported the network team with various administration tasks. I provided network representation in design reviews and assisted the network team with private VLAN and port-security implementation projects. I also authored process and procedure documents for workstation installations in a new manufacturing facility collaborating between multiple teams and enabling production start-up. I used tools and technology to maintain computers at optimal operating levels.Below are some of my notable contributions:• Led cloud migration initiatives, saving a business by returning data after a ransom-ware attack, and heading security initiatives.• Managed and supported an average of 400 end users and 35 servers.• Oversaw deployment and updated servers to ensure workstations had current Windows images and applications.• Troubleshot, diagnosed, installed, upgraded, configured, and repaired computer systems and network system components.
