Responsibilities: -Train the assistant accountant for account posting by using Sun-Account system and oversee the general accounting process to ensure monthly financial report can be adequately presented. -Produce financial statements according to GAAP for external stakeholders and prepare monthly management reports and differential analysis reports for management’s review. -Coordinate with the external auditor for interim and year-end audit -Ensure tax compliance by timely filing to local tax bureau for the subsidiaries established in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia -Prepare and produce part of budget expense report for executive leadership’s reviewAccomplishments: -Improved applicability and efficiency in monthly management report for executive leadership's review. -Coordinated and arranged the tax compliance and the accounting process with the local accounting firm for the newly formed subsidiary in Indonesia -Contacted and coordinated for employer’s tax obligation and MPF filing for the newly formed subsidiary in Hong Kong with local accounting firm and our executive manager by con-call.

-Produced invoices for various hotel management fees according to the hotel management contracts and agreements signed by Regent and worldwide “Regent” hotel owners. -Updated AR master file, maintained account receivable analysis statement and produced account receivable monthly reports to hotel owners and management -English translator and liaison with hotel affiliates and owners, discussed past due invoices as well as resolve discrepancies -Provide assistance to senior accountant for interim and year-end audit, reconciliation of AR master account with AR GL account and any additional tasks requested by management.

-Performed year-end financial reporting audit service to public company and review service to non-public company in Taiwan in technology, manufacturing, financial institution, luxury retail and various sectors, worked in a four to ten member team. -Analyzed and assessed business processes and internal control obtained through interviews, observation and review of documentation. Identified internal control deficiencies in order to assess audit risk-Performed tax audit and prepare corporation tax returns according to ROC Tax Regulation-Led two member team; provided on-the-job training, substantive audit procedures and internal control examination; and ensured the team finished the project on time. .
