CurrentProvide temporary staffing for hospitals in need. So far, I've worked at Tillamook Regional Medical Center, where the work was good, the people were genuinely lovely, and the drive through Oregon was breathtaking. I am currently at Vibra Specialty Hospital in Portland, in the middle of a 6 week contract. I just hope these old bones survive!!!

From birth to the end of life, I have grasped the belief that people matter and by standing with them, in support of their rights, I have been taught the values of compassion, respect, generosity, honesty, stewardship, advocacy and of course, love.I have worked throughout the United States as I spent nearly 6 years as a Travel RT. From small hospitals in Ketchikan Alaska and Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts to the large facilities like Dartmouth, the University of Virginia and Ohio State...and everything in between...I learned and learned and learned some more.Like a Sherlock Holmes or House...I am a Medical Sleuth...putting the pieces of the patient puzzle together...investigating in the realm of diagnostics...to find the direction, to suggest to Physicians and Nurses a course of treatment that will enhance or support the patient outcome.Even after all these years, I love this profession. It has served me well, and my hope is that I have served it.

I worked for MountainView Hospital, later to become St. Charles, Madras for 1 and one-half years. I, along with many others, left to seek employment elsewhere. Living in Madras was both chaotic and peaceful at the same time. Work brought new friends into my life. Each experience has been something to learn and grow from. And I am a better person for having seen the light.
