At Arcadis I worked primarily within the automotive sector and held a number of different positions during projects from the lead engineer during intrusive environmental investigations, site coordinator during equipment and material decommissioning activities and site manager during in-situ remediation of chlorinated solvents and demolition activities. Key experiences with Arcadis, UKEnvironmental site manager and support to contract administrator during the demolition of a contaminated phosphate process building. Task management of intrusive environmental investigations overseeing site teams of up to ten employees and sub-contractors simultaneously. Supervision and planning of various site works, from intrusive environmental investigations to ongoing groundwater monitoring, demolition, decommissioning and remediation. Planning, preparation and scheduling of samples for laboratory analysis. Health and safety planning and preparation including the review of service plans and overseeing specialist contractors on site. Completion of both detailed interpretive and factual reporting as per individual client requirements.Team submission for Young Professional of the Year at the Brownfield Briefing Awards 2015. Additionally, in April 2016, I took part in a course of training workshops focused on supporting the development of key skills such as effective communication, awareness of self and others, leadership, delegation and negotiation.
