An outsider would loosely define teaching as a noble professional, but with 32 years hands-on experience I would clearly label it a calling. Hi, I am Rita Mathis; a wife, a Mom and a teacher. Although retired, the label still sticks. It stands out in my life and personality like a sore thumb in bowling competition. I am a proud teacher. Think of me as the person who for hours on end, trains your son, teaches them basic manners, basic math, basics about life - and the complexities of it too. Think of me as the humble consistent person who takes over the parenting while you are at work. Being a professional teacher is exactly what you'd expect it to be; compelling and fulfilling. But truthfully, it has also been challenging and painful. Fortunately, I find my joy and fulfillment in that. But what happens when a mid-level elementary school teacher retires? Still young and energetic, and with so much life and zest, honestly there’s a plethora of options. But my passion is family. To me, family is invaluable and irreplaceable. I love spending time with my family and I see the world through the eyes of my bubbly grandson. Since retiring I have become a loving grandmother and taken up photography as a hobby. I enjoy the thrill of seeing wildlife such as bears in their natural habitat interacting with one another and capturing the beauty of nature in the landscapes, sunrises, and sunsets. There is endless beauty in nature. Since my passion is family, I realize that the only way to afford the time to travel with my family and friends, practice my hobbies and interact with nature taking amazing pictures is only through achieving financial freedom. I want to engage and connect, and interact and grow with a team that has the same goals and objectives. I want to experience financial freedom and capitalize on building a stream of residual income by engaging with positive minded leaders in the industry.
