Performed numerous genetic, molecular and cellular experiments using aseptic techniques on S. cerevisiae species including PCR, TUNEL assay, transformation, electroporation, chimeric colony analysis, sporulation, cell-cell signaling experiments and identification of signaling pathways. Operated array of laboratory equipment and compiled data using numerical and imaging software. As an undergraduate at the same facility, I was also responsible for preparing media and solutions, and ensuring the lab had adequate tools and materials to function on a daily basis. I performed a full mutant screen and identified mutants of interest, analyzed candidates and compiled all data. I also performed chimeric colony experiments to determine cooperative signaling in intracellular pathways.
