I received my Paralegal Certificate from Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education’s program in February, 2015. Since, I have worked as a paralegal for the law firm of Johnson & Alday, LLC and Bhrett J. Pizza, Attorney at Law, PC, in Marietta. I have four (4) years of paralegal experience in addition to over twenty years’ experience working in various office environments. This includes performing duties such as management and financial work. I am self-directed, organized, and efficient in multiple administrative duties; also, I have the ability to multi-task, make decisions with minimum direction and adhere to strict confidentiality.During my time as a Paralegal, I have worked on Plaintiff personal injury cases and workers’ compensation claims for Claimants. I have worked all aspects of workers' compensation claims from the Employee/Claimant side including the use of ICMS. As a litigation paralegal, I draft complaints, summons, discovery documents, as well as responses to discovery, and write and draft letters to clients, adjusters, attorneys and judges. I am proficient in filing Court documents on Odyssey GA eFile and PeachCourt. I interact with clients on a daily basis.
