Providing HR support, advisory and administration across a full range of HR services to Dementia Australia staff members in designated regions. As part of the National People and Culture team, this role will work collaboratively to contribute to the development and consistent implementation of national HR procedures and projects in addition to HRIS System Specialist. Working directly with managers and employees to resolve queries, support and advise on HR procedures and policy, manage performance, resolve disputes, enhance teamwork, interview candidates and build culture.

Working in partnership with managers to provide guidance and support around HR issues. This included coaching on updating position descriptions and advice to managers on performance management. Responsible for the operational needs of the lifecycle of 450 employees: recruitment, contracts, on-boarding, performance management, employment adjustments, and off-boarding.Other duties included maintaining and initial set up of systems such as Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Learning and Development (L&D), on-boarding platform, and updating the HR section on the institute’s intranet.First point of contact for visa enquires and coordinating the sponsorship renewals and nominations for the institute.

Providing support to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Speech Pathology in the School of Human Communication Sciences, such as coordinating administrative functions including timetables, examinations and results.Other duties included the coordination of clinical placements for 4th year students and the supervision of 3 staff on the Division of Allied Health reception desk. A professional achievement was deputising for the Manager of Student Services when required.

Monash International (a company of Monash University) provided international relations to clients and universities abroad. The Study Groups unit coordinated tertiary students from overseas universities to Melbourne for short term stays.Managing the registrar functions of student groups from international tertiary institutions including enrolment and homestay placement, orientation and on-boarding. This role involved liaising with client institutions abroad and determining their needs for a program.Other duties included the implementation of office communication systems and procedures, and providing administrative support to the Manager/Program Manager as required.
