The Spaulding Stroke Wellness Institute was founded in 2014. The goal of the institute to is to encourage research and clinical collaboration, as well as create recreational programs to help stroke survivors continue therapy through active management and participation in maintaining their wellness and to live fulfilling post-stroke lives. Manage the operations and business development of the Stroke Institute through strategic planning for research and clinical programs, which includes financial planning, development of marketing and communication strategies and creating opportunities for growth and community outreach. Leads the program management redesign of four programs which has increased the improvement and visibility of the institute within the entire Spaulding system. Serves as a liaison for institute faculty, patients and other stakeholders.

Created fundraising strategies for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network by researching, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding private, public, family and corporate foundations. Managed client relations with the goal to raise funds by aligning the interests of the foundation's mission to Spaulding's mission for each of our clinical programs and departments. Contributed to the Corporate and Foundation Giving team's annual funding raising goal of $1.6M for FY2016 and $1.2M for FY2017.

Managed all aspects of program financials, grant administration and proposal development for three major programs. Advised on finance strategies for the organization to better manage financial operations and management between Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health.

Collaborated with Principle Investigators to bolster research funding for the Research Laboratory for Electronics by coordinating proposal submissions and developing proposal budgets. Following proposal development, presents projects and programs to the Vice President of Research and sponsors for financing. Executed 75 proposal submissions for FY 2012 which contributed to a 23% increase in research volume worth $66M. Liaison between the Office of the VP of Research, Office of Sponsored Programs, government and industrial sponsors, as well as colleges and universities within and outside the US. Designs, generates and analyzes financial forecasts and overviews for $5.5M of research volume.

Managed an operating budget of $20M and research volume of $9M comprised of federal, corporate and private sponsor funding for the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Advised Principal Investigators on all aspects of financial and research administration to ensure compliance with MIT and sponsor policies. Prepared various financial reports and forecasting for PI's respective funding portfolios. Administered proposal submission process by creating budgets and overseeing all aspects of sponsor requirements.

Performed post award financial management to 430 grant funds valued at $114M for several departments with the hospital's research community. Consulted department managers and principle investigators on the financial status of their grant funds. Analyzed and prepared financial status reports required by private and federal sponsoring agencies.

Supported Division Manager of the Neuroscience Laboratory in the post-award financial management of grants, contracts and discretionary funds.
