I hail from Lecce and Salento, a backdrop that cradled my emotions for 26 years. Then, as often happens in fairytales, a serendipitous event in 1997 whisked me away to the borders of France, specifically to Oulx, where the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics took place. In Oulx, I became the first woman from the south to take on the role of Councillor for Tourism, Trade, and Culture, particularly during the Olympic year of 2006, gaining significant support. And so began my family “fairytale”. My husband, Paolo, a successful entrepreneur in hospitality, communication, and tourism, chose to leave the bustling city of Milan to embark on a publishing challenge in his hometown. After years of hard work and achievements, he introduced me to what would become MY reality: communication, marketing, publishing, and journalism, with specialized courses in press office management. It's a dynamic and challenging role, which as many entrepreneurs know, offers no breaks, especially when passion fuels the drive for growth and self-discovery.Being a strong advocate for the importance of interpersonal relationships, my job allows me to meet esteemed managers, internationally renowned doctors, sportsmen, actors, actresses, and top-tier athletes. With many, we've cultivated a deep mutual trust, evolving into what's best described as FRIENDSHIP!Professionally, I've held positions managing press offices for the Bardonecchia Municipality, the Piedmont Regional Council (Health Committee), collaborated with national newspapers, and orchestrated large-scale events... but that's a story for another time!I don't see work as a tool for success, but as a tool of success. My mantra: never tell a woman she can't do something... A lesson I've carried with me, inspired by the strong women in my family.Family is my anchor – a husband, a son, and a sweet "special dog", a Cane Corso (with roots from Puglia). I've returned to my homeland in Lecce but always with a lingering gaze towards "my" mountains and its people.I strongly believe in teamwork, in "putting oneself forward", in "building together", and in "networking".
