Led the development, design and implementation of the Ontario Pension Board's internal communications program and provided change management expertise to large projects.

Led a team to lay the groundwork for the corporation that brought the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games to Toronto.

HROntario is a new agency in the Government of Ontario. All the human resource and business transformation functions have been brought together under one roof. I am leading the charge to brand the new organization, and to develop an employment brand for the Ontario Public Service.

Set up a communications practice for The Greater Toronto Transportation Authority (Metrolinx), a new provincial crown agency. In just a few months, developed a strategic communications framework, commissioned in-depth market research and launched a new Web portal. Collaborating with policy colleagues, managed the communications role to produce and release seven green- and two white-papers in support of the Regional Transportation Plan and corresponding Investment Strategy. Planned and participated in delivery of a series of stakeholder and public meetings, ensuring success through well-executed media outreach and meticulous issues management. Responsible for unique, web-enabled, well-received, public consultation process. Led project to rename and begin branding Metrolinx.

Delivered the OPS Internal Communications, Review Project

Directed first substantial policy amendments in 30 years to the Ontario Heritage Act. Orchestrated complex consultations; planned and participated in public education sessions.Staff of 50 provided a variety of programs and services:policy development, stakeholder liaison, grants processing and regulatory licensing. Successfully managed challenging, sensitive issues, ranging from aboriginal occupation of land where there were traditional burial sites, to an influential stakeholder’s objections to the Ontario Heritage Act amendments. Working with the federal and provincial governments, helped establish and deliver Ontario's Historic Places Initiative for the province. Collaborated with a significant interest group to develop regulations to protect underwater archaeology, for which staff received a Marine Heritage Award. Won an Amethyst Award for working with Ministry of Government Services and library stakeholders on pilot project aimed at improving service to public.
