Since 2002 Project Valentine volunteers has recruited donations, to assemble thousands of care packages, and delivered them to men, women, and children undergoing treatment for cancer in various hospitals on Valentine's Day. Project Valentine continues to make a positive contribution to the community of cancer patients every year with the help of it's volunteers and generous donations from both individuals, and companies in the area. In 2016 we delivered over 500 gift to hospitals and infusion centers throughout the Denver Metro area. We are always in need of handmade valentine cards, or gifts to add to our bags. This person also updates our Facebook page with a craft and valentine of the month in the hopes of getting donations of these items for our bags.

Rita and her husband Joe host students from around the world who come to improve their English for their job, or to prepare for college abroad. They have hosted over 200 students ages 14 - 68, several who have returned more than once. They are at the point where they are now hosting the children of former students. Students stay anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year. Recently they have enjoyed helping students who are studying English to transition to college in the U.S. Not only helping the student with their English, but also with their choice of university. Hosting brings them great joy and they feel they have family worldwide.

Rita has long been known as The Voice of Cushman & Wakefield in Denver. She enjoys her job immensely. She has built relationships with Cushman & Wakefield employees across the country. She is well known in the Denver brokerage community and is missed when she is not at her desk. She values the long term conncections and friendships of current coworkers, in addition to former co-workers, and clients. She is known by all as the "go to person". She especially enjoys helping out those new to the business.

Rita worked to bring the Latin community to DCPA for a memorable experience and to encourage a lifelong love of theatre. She recently worked on a sub-committee to strengthen the CRC guidelines.

Rita worked as a receptionist and property manager assistant. She loved this company which unfortunately went bancrupt.
