Current• Evaluated the impacts of proposed changes to issues, weighed the options, then recommended the best course of actions to operators/foreman to troubleshoot daily tasks that related to quality and operational issues• Studied both unit bottlenecks in details and provided capital and non-capital solutions to mitigate the problems • Built multiple predictive parameters for Co/Mn concentration in the feed mix using available data only and turned it into an automatic program to proactively control oxidation reactor and allowed the unit to speed up• Continuously developed new calculated parameters such as to measure concentrations of impurities created and accumulated, and CRU Mott filter’s washing efficiency to allow time to make proactive moves in avoidance of oxidation reactor upsets• Took the lead role in reducing water content in oxidation reactor through team work which helped to reduce load in the unit backend, less impurities created, and higher yield • Aided in developing multiple capital projects to improve evaporator’s performances and ultimately eliminate the unit bottlenecks• Evaluated multiple reactors’ performance on regular basis to recommend when to increase temperature setpoint to avoid regeneration during campaign to avoid production loss, and when to replace with new set of catalyst
