We recently did a Health and Wellness Symposium at Pickering Recreation Center with guest speakers from Durham Police Services and Medical Doctors from Scarborough to promote Wellness and Wellness choices.

My ability to work in offsite settings has been demonstrated by my involvement through the agency e.g. GravenHurst where I was accountable for the day to day health(12 hour shifts) of over 180 clients while in charge, and was also concurrently medication nurse for 60 clients. During one shift, one resident concurrently cardioverted (pacemaker faulty) while another client went AWOL in the snow looking for her daughter.

Corporate Wellness e.g. V.O.N. was contracted by Buffett and Co. and we, R.N.s' went into corporations like General Motors, Veridian, Mayoral candidates and did Health Careteaching and Cardiac Screening.

R.N. Field Supervisor - Supervised Personal Support Workers within the community and L.T.C. settings-Assessed clients to identify appropiate nursing interventions and refer to related services within a multi-disciplinary team within the community.-Served as a liason with discharge planners, pharmacists. medical practitioners, occupational/physical therapists, dieticians,power of attorneys, C.C.A.C. Case managers and other members inclusive in client focused care.
