I am the Sales Administration Analyst for the VP/Branch Manager for Simpson Strong-Tie Canada. Also supporting the Sales and Engineering teams.

• Provide administrative support for the VP of Marketing and Travel Services and support the Managers for the Marketing and Travel Services departments (including travel planning and coordination, meeting arrangements and documentation/notes, etc.)• Office Manager Role for Marketing office (Richmond Fleet Refit Facility) and BC Ferries Vacations Centre (Vancouver) (contractor coordination, facility and equipment maintenance, supply orders and tracking, etc.)• Budget planning, management, tracking, forecasting and variance reporting for the Marketing, Travel Services and BC Ferries Vacations department budgets• Assist with departmental yearly strategic planning and development• Purchase order creation, receive supplier invoices • Assist Marketing Managers with promotional campaigns and projects (update intranet, qualify partners, proof ads, etc.)• Coordinated Capital Project budget and construction of BC Ferries Vacations Centre (Project now in final stages of completion)

• Provide administrative support for the VP of Sales & Marketing and liaise with the Western Canada Business Development Managers• Office Manager Role for Western Canada Sales Office (equipment maintenance, supply orders and tracking, inter-office couriers, etc.)• Review and track Western Canada Business Development Manager expense reports• Track Western Canada Marketing budget• Generate and administer weekly/monthly sales reports for chains, consortiums, preferred travel partners, and Business Development Managers• Coordinate brochure inventory and distribution for Western Canada• Track and distribute Product/Property updates and modifications • Organize product launches, familiarization tours and sales functions across Western Canada (including staff travel to/from events) • Facilitate requests from Travel Agents regarding commission, special requests, brochure orders, fam trips, sales material, promotions etc.• Travel Agency Maintenance (set-up new travel agencies, update agency data base, prepare agency agreements)• Solicit and track (using the tracking system I designed) co-op ad partners for Sunwing advertising campaigns (newspaper, magazine, on-line and radio)• Co-ordinate one-off ads between Sunwing Travel partners and Sunwing graphic design and marketing departments, and arrange and coordinate radio promotions (ie: liaising between the Sunwing Payload, Marketing, Promotions and Groups departments, the newspaper, magazine and/or radio station and the Travel Partner)• Represent Sunwing at trade and consumer shows

• Coordination, maintenance and proofing of newspaper, magazine, radio and website advertising• Prepare media kits and releases• Administration of marketing and promotional budget• Coordination and tracking of co-op advertising• Responsible for all prize winner contra and promotional agreements• Creation of new advertising ideas and to follow leads of new advertising outlets• Yearly brochure proofing• Promotion of Transat Holidays and Nolitours at community events• Responsible for maintaining group bookings under sponsorship agreements, leading large groups in destination and conference/event planning in destination.• Sales of Transat Holidays’ & Nolitours product as individual and Group bookings• Quotation of Transat Holiday’s product for group sales (i.e.: calculating net fares, price matching the competition, up-selling and cross-selling product)• Entering proper accounting and invoicing for all group bookings.• Dealing efficiently with any problems (i.e.: hotel stop-sales, name changes, payments, last minute additions or cancellations, etc.) in both groups and reservations• My groups sales were consistently among the highest within the Groups Department• Sales of RBC Travel Insurance
