I was promoted to my Senior Manager role in 2021, I have supported Controllership, Financial Operations, Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Communications, Public Affairs, Customer & Employee Strategy, Experience Design (UX) & Research, Customer Insights & Measurement, and Relationship Strategy teams. I am responsible for advising leadership on talent strategy and HR tactical matters (e.g. compensation, benefits, employee relations) and launching talent programs to ensure a robust talent bench, with programs that have included performance management, career development, talent assessment, coaching, succession and officer onboarding. We have launched effective employee retention programs (e.g. spot bonuses, recognition programs, health & wellness) that contributed to significant reductions in turnover. While in this role I was selected to the team building Best Buy's new Customer Office organization focused on driving customer obsession across the enterprise, developing innovative customer strategies, and designing world-class customer and employee experience. I contributed to the org and leadership structure, change management, development of a 'High Performing Teams" learning series, compensation reviews/assessments, and remote hiring strategies. I am also a member of Best Buy's Inclusion & Diversity Steering Committee focused on increasing diversity hiring and advise leaders on best practices, talent share programs, and building awareness of enterprise programs.

In 2014 I was promoted to Associate Manager of Talent and Performance Management and the following year I transitioned to become Manager of Performance Development and Ops, responsible for roadmaps and driving key initiatives across a portfolio spanning Engagement and Human Capital Analytics that impacted our Best Buy's 125,000 employee enterprise. Project highlights included redesign of line-level performance appraisals, development of a software solution to track employee performance, and corporate-wide implementation of a career progression framework, career development portal, and supporting technology. I was also responsible for custom talent reporting for Best Buy's CFO, CHRO, and CEO to deepen understanding of employee performance and engagement trends.

In this role I was responsible for design, development, and implementation of various tools, processes, systems, and metrics for performance management for adoption across the enterprise. During this time I developed a calculator for retail store leaders to enter employee goals, goal weights, and scores to calculate a final score for performance appraisals, which replaced a manual system and was adopted for use with 120k retail employees. Other work included facilitating trainings in SuccessFactors for HR Business Partners and end users.
